RESTAURANT INTERIOR DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

Developed for Pacific Hospitality Group, the Mustangs & Burros restaurant and bar at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa combines a laid-back California feel with elements of traditional Mexican flair.  The light and airy interior combines textural seating in tan, charcoal and cocoa; Otomi fabric accents; distressed woods and wrought iron; hand blown glass pendants; whimsical glass bird chandeliers; and a singular hand painted feature art piece of the Spanish film siren, Maria Felix.  The new welcoming patio features a kaleidoscope of color in fuchsia, yellow and aqua pillows and cushions, Instagram worthy rattan peacock feature chairs; and an eclectic mix of accessories complete the space.

 

Shannon created the restaurant interior design; prepared plans, FF&E and material reference specifications; provided complete procurement services; general contractor and construction supervision; and oversaw the installation and finishing touches.  Completed in 2018.

Fun Fact:  Mexican food and skinny margaritas are some of Shannon's favorites, so it was extra fun to design this hacienda haven!
